Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

As Functional Safety and Cyber Security Quality Manager – Automotive you will be responsible for managing and assuring product quality, safety and security throughout the product lifecycle, in order to set the stage for successful and long-lasting customer relationships.

  • Be primarily responsible for all quality management tasks specific to an ISO 26262-compliant and ISO 21434-complaint process framework
  • Be responsible for general process quality assurance, in accordance with the Infineon quality management system
  • Support in the identification and assessment of process-related risks in product development projects
  • Compile and execute a quality assurance plan
  • Be responsible for the communication of the status of conformity and compliance measures and escalate concerns where necessary
  • Provide support to project teams for an effective and efficient achievement of conformity and compliance
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement in your area of responsibility

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You remain aware of the big picture, to achieve your goals. Additionally, you are pro-active team player, with good organizational and communication skills.

  • A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant, professional experience in an R&D or quality management role, ideally within the semiconductor industry
  • Expert knowledge of ISO 26262 and general quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO9001), ideally with an ISO 26262 Professional certification
  • Ideally, basic knowledge of ISO 21434-compliant product development, as well as an ISO 21434 Professional certification
  • Good knowledge of quality management systems, methods and procedures (e.g. risk management, FMEA, 8D, etc.) as well as customer-related processes
  • Good experience in semiconductor technology, as well as IC technology and devices preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel
