Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management, performance and continuous development of the Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation website, ensuring it delivers an engaging user experience, supports lead generation and reflects the company's brand and commercial objectives. The role owns all aspects of website optimisation, including content management, search visibility, conversion rate optimisation, technical development and digital compliance. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners, the role uses data and insight to continuously improve website performance and maximise its effectiveness as the company's primary digital marketing asset.
This is a part time position, working 20 hours per week.
This is a remote role however occasional travel to our sites in Loughborough and Horncastle will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company website through Optimizely CMS, ensuring content is accurate, up to date and delivers an excellent user experience.
- Analyse website performance and user behaviour to identify and implement conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives that improve user experience and drive qualified lead generation.
- Manage the delivery of website enhancements and new functionality, working with internal teams and external development partners.
- Lead the development of customer-facing digital tools, including calculators and configurators, to improve engagement and support lead generation.
- Optimise search visibility through SEO, Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
- Manage web analytics, reverse IP tracking and performance reporting to provide insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee cookie management and ensure compliance with digital governance, privacy and data protection requirements.
- Monitor digital trends, emerging technologies and best practice to continually enhance website performance, visibility and commercial impact.
- Work closely with marketing, product and sales teams to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with external website agencies and wider Genuit Group marketing teams to maximise website effectiveness.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working with a DXP-level CMS.
- Previous experience with SEO.
- Previous experience initiating CRO activity based on analytics and insights.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of GA4 (Google Analytics 4).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage own workload and reprioritise tasks effectively.
- Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
