What physician independence actually means
- You are not employed by a hospital system or insurance company — your clinical decisions stay yours.
- No conflicting institutional incentives. No administrative pressure to order more or admit more. Just you and your patients.
- Community medicine done right: Lake Placid's Medicare Advantage population means you can focus on chronic disease management and real prevention.
- Monday through Friday schedule — predictable hours that let you have a life outside medicine.
What we handle so you don't have to
Our platform, Millennium CARES Connect, removes the administrative burden so you can practice at the top of your license:
Administrative support:
- Payer contracting, quality and coding, HCC risk adjustment, credentialing, billing, and population health management — all handled.
Clinical support team:
- 24/7 nurse triage line, case managers, hospitalists, transitional care coordinators, social workers, discharge planners, palliative care specialists, clinical pharmacists, and home health.
Technology:
- AthenaOne EMR with AI integration — purpose-built to reduce documentation time, not add to it.
- Virtual Care Clinic and Telehealth services built into your care model.
Compensation & benefits
- Productivity-based compensation — you benefit directly from the care you deliver
- Shared-savings bonus: earn from the ACO value you help create
- Equity potential as the group grows
- CME allowances
- Health, dental, vision, life, disability, and malpractice insurance
- Matching 401(k) and supplemental retirement plan options
