Responsibilities and duties

· Provide high quality administrative, customer and office services in order to contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the department.

· Ensure Client Service Standards are upheld.

· Process documents, payments and schedules in accordance with agreed timelines and in compliance with relevant legislation.

· Register and administer claims within prescribed timeframes.

· Provide high standard of phone service for all incoming calls within workers compensation team

· Ensure clients and injured employees experience high level customer service relating to Workers’ Compensation

· Ensure all incoming mail is cleared and actioned daily and within Client Service Agreements and legislated timeframes.

· Minimise data integrity errors.

· Identify required refinements to claims administration procedures and support material that would contribute to continuous claims management improvements.

Required skills, experience and qualifications

Core Skills:

· Strong understanding of all states standards of Practice and procedures.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Highly developed self-management and organisation skills.

· Continuous improvement and initiative – including flexibility and ability to adapt to change.

· Strong analytical skills

· Customer service focus

Experience and Knowledge:

· Previous experience in data entry, administration is advantageous.

· Basic computer literacy.
