Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Property Rounds in JACKSONVILLE, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond professionally to concerns. You will create a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication while collaborating with a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the commercial property.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
- Document patrol findings and incidents accurately and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least six months of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
