Description

Opportunity Overview:

The Practice Optimization Specialist (POS) will serve as a critical partner to our sales team, facilitating the enhanced utilization of Align Technology products (Invisalign, iTero, Vivera) within our partner dental clinics. This role involves the design and execution of comprehensive training programs aimed at empowering clinic staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to optimize patient experiences and drive incremental revenue. The POS will collaborate closely with dental clinic personnel, dentists, and orthodontists to ensure seamless product integration and foster sustained growth. This is an individual contributor role and reports into the Regional Sales Manager.


Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Program Development and Execution: 
    • Assist in the design and delivery of structured training programs to ensure clinic staff competency in the application of Invisalign, iTero, and Vivera products.
    • Organise and conduct engaging and informative training sessions/events, both in-person and virtual, utilizing effective instructional methodologies.
    • Contribute to the development of training agendas and provide expertise in course content refinement.
  • New Provider Engagement: 
    • Support the onboarding process for new Invisalign providers through participation in events and delivery of training initiatives.
    • Execute follow-up activities to ensure new providers achieve successful product adoption and integration.
  • Clinic Performance Enhancement: 
    • Collaborate with Practice Development Managers (PDMs) to identify clinic needs and provide tailored support for business growth through Align Technology products.
    • Partner with clients to implement strategic solutions that optimize practice efficiency and enhance patient outcomes.
    • Actively solicit and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions in collaboration with management.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new information and adapt to evolving environments.
  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of effective training programs to diverse audiences.
  • Prior experience working onsite in dental clinics will be very advantageous.
  • Ability to use PowerPoint, Word, and Excel very effectively to plan, develop, execute, and track training programs.
  • Strong customer-centric orientation with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Interest in and aptitude for workflow optimization and implementation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate fundamental product knowledge to clients and consumers.
  • Demonstrated results-driven approach with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successful initiative execution within a high-performing team.
  • Availability for extensive field presence (80%+), including travel and occasional weekend work.
