## The impact you’ll make
As a Program Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for Forecast Management team. You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project are completed on time and within budget.
- The Forecast Management Team is responsible for driving end-to-end forecasting by extending demand visibility beyond the customer order horizon and enabling proactive supply chain readiness. This role will Lead the Demand Automation Program under Forecast Management, driving the transformation of forecasting from a traditional, manually maintained Planning BOM process to a scalable, intelligent, and highly automated process.
- The position is accountable for delivering timely and high-quality forecast signals across global manufacturing sites and remote factories through the effective utilization of Customer Quotes, Sales Orders and Non Standard request from Customers. By improving signal quality, and planning accuracy, the role strengthens supply chain preparedness and supports operational excellence.
## What you’ll do
Demand Automation Program Leadership
- Lead and expand the Demand Automation (DA) program across multiple product (Systems and Upgrades), Business Units, customers, and manufacturing sites by driving product enrolment, adoption strategies, and governance frameworks to achieve scalable, factory-wide standardization.
- Own the product fitness evaluations, factory onboarding, and Planning BOM to DA transition activities.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve automation adoption, forecast signal quality, and planning efficiency.
- Serve as the SME for program and lead enhancements to program, workflows, control tables, exceptions handling mechanisms, and SAP transactions.
- Govern Demand Automation exception processes including non-standard customer requests, Variant Configurator and BOM Inconsistencies related to Quotes and Sales order and errors in MRP signal
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCCA) and implement corrective actions (CA) for demand signal failures and forecast deviations.
Forecast Performance
- Monitor KPIs like forecast coverage and accuracy and analyze forecasting trends, identify process gaps impacting demand visibility.
- Deliver visibility on KPI dashboards and actionable insights to leadership teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with CFTs (Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Product Groups, Configuration Engineering, Supply Chain Planning)
- Develop process documentation, training materials, and work instructions and facilitate alignment across factories to standardize the process across factories
- Partner with Business Systems Analysts (BSA) / GIS Team for develop and deploying DA Enhancements, troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.
## Who we’re looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain with 5+ Years for Experience or master’s degree with 3+ year experience
- 3+ Years of related experience in project management or program management.
- Experience coordinating cross functional teams and influencing stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and utilize data for decision and support.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP, MRP, Quotes and Sales Orders, Variant Configurator and BOM structures.
- Experience managing global cross-functional programs across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Management.
## Preferred qualifications
- Semiconductor or complex manufacturing experience.
- Proven experience leading large-scale forecasting transformation, or digital supply chain initiatives.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
