The role
As an Artwork Production Specialist, you will coordinate packaging artwork projects from brief to final delivery, working across teams to ensure artwork is accurate, timely, and ready for production
What you'll be responsible for
Coordinate the timely delivery of mechanical artwork and separation files to printers and suppliers, helping ensure packaging is delivered on time and in full (OTIF). Create and manage projects within the Artwork Management System as assigned by project lead across both primary and secondary packaging. Lead pre-production meetings, build timelines with stakeholders, manage production issues, and keep project leads and external vendors aligned on progress and delivery. Support project forums and ensure design files are prepared to the correct specifications and handed over accurately to PMA partners where needed. Approve colour-reliable proofs and colour standards, including first press pass where required, to ensure marketing expectations and print quality are met. Share your technical print production knowledge with marketing teams, spot potential challenges early, and help find practical solutions that work within budget and timelines. Represent marketing at first press runs where this responsibility is not covered by the supplier or PMA. Review PMA work confirmations for content accuracy and communicate approval status to the party responsible for invoice authorisation. Maintain an accurate packaging portfolio list for active products within the assigned artwork portfolio. Monitor external vendor adherence to agreed lead times and delivery schedules, escalating risks where needed to protect delivery timelines. Track and report PMA performance against TMICC evaluation criteria to support continuous improvement and service excellence.
