[What the role is]
PUB is looking for a Senior Application Analyst to join our Digital Office team. You will support one of two key areas: delivering and enhancing Digital Workplace platforms that enable productivity across the organisation or supporting the Cumulus Project Office in migrating PUB's on-premises SAP Enterprise Resource Planning to a cloud-based solution. You will work closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors to implement secure, reliable, and user-centric solutions aligned with organisational needs and government policies.[What you will be working on]
Digital Workplace
Deliver, enhance, and support Digital Workplace applications and platforms.
Analyse business needs, translate requirements into functional/technical specifications, and manage enhancements and deployments.
Provide application support, incident resolution, and root‑cause analysis to ensure system stability.
Manage vendors and assess change requests to ensure quality, timeliness, and value.
Support system integrations, documentation, audits, and compliance with IM8 and government IT policies.
Guide and mentor junior analysts; contribute to team capability development.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance employee productivity and user experience.
Support and govern low‑code development (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform), including use‑case assessment, solution design, and lifecycle management.
Enable responsible adoption of enterprise GenAI tools (e.g. M365 Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise), working with stakeholders to identify productivity use cases and ensure security, data protection, and change‑management requirements are me
Cumulus Project Office (2-yr contract)
Work with IT contractors and business users (HR, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement) to review and analyse PUB’s ERP needs, and make recommendations to streamline processes to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solutions.
Responsible for the procurement and implementation of PUB project and procurement system(s) and related sub‑systems, including integration points with the new cloud‑based ERP and other Singapore Government shared systems and services.
Perform the role of integration and technical lead to advise on IT and operations considerations for deployment and cutover from the existing on‑premises SAP ERP system to the new cloud‑based ERP solution.
Proactively manage project risks and direct the development and maintenance of plans, practices, and assignments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Monitor the performance of the existing ERP system and work with stakeholders and vendors to troubleshoot production issues, handle incidents, and implement vulnerability mitigation measures.
Carry out security and risk assessments to ensure security controls are in place and functioning effectively.
Support documentation management of key workflows, functional requirements, and technical documentation for ERP‑related systems.
Handle audit queries and ensure audit and security compliance requirements are met.
[What we are looking for]
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in application analysis, IT service delivery, or enterprise systems.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex requirements clearly across management, users, and vendors.
- Good grasp of IT technologies, methodologies, architectures, and best practices.
- Self-starter who is organised, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with IM8 and government IT security and audit requirements is an advantage.
- [DW] Experience with Digital Workplace or productivity platforms; exposure to low code and/or enterprise GenAI tools is an advantage.
- [CP] Familiarity with HR/Payroll, Finance, and Procurement domains, with hands-on experience in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle PeopleSoft, or Workday.
- [CP] Strong technical background to coordinate with technical teams on complex requirements and integration issues.
- [CP] Relevant certifications such as PMP, CITPM, or SAP/Oracle/Workday are an advantage.
