The Lead, Learning & Performance Solutions plays a critical role in advancing this mission by designing and delivering innovative learning and performance solutions that improve effectiveness in key roles across clinical, operational, and corporate teams.  

 

This role blends deep instructional design expertise with strong business partnership to diagnose performance needs, develop targeted solutions, and drive measurable improvements that enhance both team member capability and the overall patient experience. This is a remote position. 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Performance Consulting & Business Partnership

• Partner closely with operations, clinical, and business leaders to assess performance in critical roles across supported practices
• Analyze performance data, identify gaps, and uncover root causes impacting team effectiveness and patient experience
• Consult with leaders to design and recommend targeted development solutions that drive measurable performance improvement
• Ensure alignment between learning strategies and operational goals in a fast-paced, multi-location environment

Instructional Design & Solution Development

• Lead the end-to-end design of high-impact learning solutions for enterprise-wide initiatives and priority roles
• Apply deep expertise in instructional design to create engaging, effective, and scalable learning experiences
• Develop blended learning solutions, including digital learning, instructor-led programs, and on-the-job training resources
• Ensure learning content is practical, role-specific, and directly tied to clinical quality, operational excellence, and patient outcomes

 

Performance Support & Continuous Improvement

• Develop performance support tools (job aids, guides, workflows) that enable employees to apply learning in real-time within practice environments
• Establish measurement strategies to evaluate effectiveness, adoption, and business impact of solutions
• Continuously refine programs based on feedback, performance data, and evolving organizational needs

Thought Leadership & Standards

• Serve as a subject matter expert in instructional design and performance improvement methodologies
• Establish and promote best practices, frameworks, and quality standards across talent development initiatives
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and partners on effective learning and performance solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Education, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, performance consulting, or talent development
• Proven success designing and delivering complex, enterprise-level learning solutions
• Experience partnering with business leaders to assess performance needs and implement solutions
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, dental, or patient-focused service organizations preferred
• Experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations
• Familiarity with performance consulting frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, Human Performance Improvement)
• Experience with LMS platforms, authoring tools, and learning analytics
