Description
We are seeking an experienced Drywall Hanger/Taper to support commercial and residential construction projects. This position is responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall while maintaining high standards for quality and jobsite safety.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings.
- Secure drywall to wood or metal framing.
- Apply joint tape, joint compound, and finishing coats.
- Sand and smooth finished surfaces to prepare them for paint.
- Install corner bead and finish inside and outside corners.
- Repair damaged drywall, cracks, holes, and surface imperfections.
- Read measurements, layouts, and basic construction plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with supervisors and other trades.
