About the Role

The HR Business Partner will support the VP HR, Automotive Global Operations in all HRBP areas to drive an end-to-end business and customer-centric mindset in Operations, capable of translating global business goals into actionable HR plans for the Global Procurement, Global Supply Chain Management and Global Automotive Quality organization. The role will support approximately 1800 professional employees together with the VP, HR.

Your Team 

The HR Business Partner, Global Ops reports to the VP HR, Global Automotive Operations.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with the VP, HR Global Automotive Operations, design and implement the HR strategic roadmap for the Global Operations functions Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Quality, to ensure that organizational design, HR pillars, tools, policies, systems and processes meet strategic requirements of an end-to-end approach in a highly transformational tech organization, and needs of a diverse and growing workforce, so as to attract, develop, engage and retain talent, and meet quality and compliance requirements.

  • Partner with the global leaders’ teams to execute HR plans that bring the functions to best-in-class levels in the context of HARMAN values and culture, and Automotive Transformation goals; support org design, change management, attraction, engagement, development interventions for the functions and contribute to a highly skilled and motivated talent set up.

  • Leads, delivers and monitors key HR processes for the Budapest leadership team.

  • Acts as an internal consultant and business partner for all Budapest Operations organization employment issues.

  • Consult with hiring managers and partner with Talent Acquisition to develop and implement appropriate recruitment and sourcing strategies for both active and passive talent, paying particular attention to HARMAN’s Diversity & Inclusiveness initiatives and creative sourcing techniques.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to build a strong candidate pipeline, as appropriate.

  • Facilitates and leverages best practices that fosters a culture that promotes a high employee engagement.

  • Leads, supports and implements HR projects as required.

  • Counsels employees and managers on HR company policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Provides advice and direction to managers and employees related to all aspects of performance management to include but not limited to, employee relations, recruitment, succession planning, compensation, benefits, compliance, training & development.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in human resources in large, global organizations focused on leading all HR activities to support both manufacturing and non-manufacturing employees.

  • Experience in supporting business leaders to drive transformation in an operations context.

  • Strong communication and consultative skills.

  • Works collaboratively in group situations.

  • Relevant experience in managing HR programs.

  • Project leadership experience.
