Chef Manager

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a talented and motivated Chef Manager to lead culinary operations at Methodist Hospital Northlake in Gary, Indiana. We are looking for a creative, dependable culinary professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality food, leading kitchen teams, and creating an exceptional dining experience. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensure food quality and consistency, maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation, and foster a positive, collaborative environment that supports both team success and guest satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
• have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.
