Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the Nightly Huddle that occurs at 2330 hrs. with Airport Operations support.
- Distribute the Roadway Bulletin, Terminal Bulletin & Daily Roadway Map to attendees of theNightly Huddle.
- Perform “Site Checks” at each location within the CTA, Terminals and the AOA locations thathave active construction activities that are deployed during each shift.
- Take photos of each deployed project working in the CTA, Terminals and the AOA locations.The photos should capture items such as vehicle and equipment deployment, activeconstruction, vital traffic and passenger movement as well as important barricades and signage.These photos should be labeled with relevant information such as photo description anddate/time stamp.
- Produce a Nightly Report that has both a written narrative component and photographiccomponent that includes the following for each deployed project for that shift: personnelcount, late flight information and any other relevant documents. Post the Nightly Reports to theCALMSHARE site. In addition, the nightly report should be saved on the V Drive and distributedto a predetermined stakeholder list.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and schedule for all projects (LAWA CIP, Maintenance,Airline, Concessionaire, TSA, etc.) currently active within the CTA, Terminals and AOA locations.
- Act as responsible party to ensure that all construction in public areas has appropriatebarricades and signage as per the approved ASR. If there are deficiencies noted, theNS-ARM will work with the contractor to correct deficiencies and will reportdeficiencies to the CALM Sign Shop Manager if additional signage is required.
- Responsibilities include working with The Development Group (TDG) Elementrepresentatives, Facilities Maintenance Group (FMUG), Airport Operations (OPS),Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Information Technology Group (IMTG), TDGSafety/Inspections, and LAWA Airport Police Traffic Officers to develop protocols that willfacilitate orderly shutdowns with minimum disruption to passengers, tenants, andcontractors.
- Meet regularly with the CALM Area Resident Manager – Lead and makerecommendations concerning procedures, protocols, and staffing.
- Develop appropriate tracking and record keeping tools
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 20 years of Construction Management field experience.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of Airport experience or 5 years of experience in othercritical environment facilities.
- Ability to assume additional responsibilities other than role outlined above.
- Proven accuracy, reliability, priority setting, and completeness in jobaccomplishment.
- Demonstrated planning, controlling, organizing and leadership skills in previouspositions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate complexissues to a non-technical audience.
- Must be able to work under pressure on high-profile complicated assignments
- Ability to understand design and construction intent of projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project
Hardware/Software Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teamsand Outlook
- Proficient in Adobe software namely Acrobat and InDesign
- Able to review and edit documents in Bluebeamand Power Point.
