Position Summary
The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure and providing technical support to ensure efficient and secure business operations. This role manages computer systems, networks, user accounts, hardware, software, and cybersecurity practices while delivering timely technical assistance to employees. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware, software, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and maintain the company's network, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, and server environment.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers as needed.
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Respond to help desk requests and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, conference room equipment, and peripheral devices.
- Assist employees with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, VPN, and other business applications.
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts for new hires, transfers, and terminations.
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, email accounts, and user permissions.
- Maintain access rights and ensure appropriate security controls are in place.
- Support password resets and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Maintain inventory of IT assets, including computers, monitors, mobile devices, and software licenses.
- Prepare and configure equipment for new employees.
- Coordinate equipment replacement, repairs, warranty claims, and disposal.
- Track IT inventory and maintain accurate asset records.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions, antivirus software, and security updates.
- Monitor system security and assist in responding to security incidents.
- Perform regular data backups and support disaster recovery procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity best practices.
- Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Assist with server administration, file sharing, and cloud-based services.
- Monitor system availability and perform routine maintenance.
- Maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades and technology implementation projects.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware purchases, software licensing, and technical support.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, including system configurations, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide end-user training on IT systems, cybersecurity awareness, and company technology policies.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT support.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in IT Administration, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or System Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), Microsoft Intune, and VPN configuration is preferred.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
- Experience supporting printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and audiovisual equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Knowledge of endpoint management and mobile device management (MDM).
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications) are preferred.
- Experience supporting ERP, CRM, or manufacturing systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of and interest in AI technologies and productivity tools is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Korean)
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment and related hardware weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel throughout the office and manufacturing facility to provide technical support.
