Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting designated areas in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or prohibited items to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting de-escalation, communication, and timely documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location and shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Guard card is required. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
