An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Operations Engineer
What you will do:
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:
Materials management – planning delivery of required materials to shopfloor for all Pharm Ops production campaigns, transfer request of materials on time to meet the production schedule. Escalation of any material issues pre-campaign as part of the production planning.
Equipment management - Supports day to day production activity on the shopfloor to ensure equipment available for campaigns, downtime minimised, and production schedule realised.
Data Integrity lead for Operations
Leads small improvement projects in production to deliver IPT targets using appropriate Lean tools including the implementation of turnaround improvements, reduction of process variability, and waste elimination
Provide support for Pharm Ops Model Areas including 12-week sprint initiatives in constraint modules.
Operations Digital Visual Factory lead – focus on paperless operations and utilisation of Power BI, Spotfire, O365 tools, e-logs, eshopfloor to support digitisation
Management of standard work boards; update and creation where required
Commercialisation support - operationalisation of clinical and development campaigns and planning and supporting execution of any non-standard activities
Author Operations related Deviations. Provide Operational expertise on other ancillary deviations
GMP compliance – completion of factory walkdowns and closure of observations
What skills you will need:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
Hold a Third Level qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering or Science discipline OR, Relevant Manufacturing Formulation experience
Have at least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate and influence across functions
Lean Six Sigma Certification an advantage
Interest and experience in Digital tools an advantage (Power BI, Spotfire, O365 tools, eshopfloor etc)
SAP/MES knowledge/experience
Project management (not essential)
Deviation management (not essential)
