We are headquartered in Conroe, Texas and we operate a facility in Livermore, California.
We are looking for a Parts Sales Representative for our Conroe, TX location. This position would report to the Parts Sales Manager.
SCOPE and PURPOSE
Applies to all activities and guidelines for operations performed by this position. This job description shall be reviewed on a regular basis.
- Answers incoming calls and provides assistance to customers and departmental staff; assists operational department heads outside of assigned department with parts needs.
- Enters orders and accurately allocates cost to the correct cost center for sales.
- Reads bills of materials and drawings in SAP R/3.
- Coordinates purchasing and pricing with BMA/KLEMM/MAT/BTEK.
- Builds and maintains a good working relationship with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Communicates all potential disruptions in shipments to customers to the Parts Sales Manager.
- Assists the Parts Sales Manager in monitoring and ensuring departmental staff compliance with established safety guidelines.
Requirements
1. Education and Training – Associates Degrees or as deemed sufficient by management. BBA or Associates degree with APICS certification is preferred.
2. Technical Requirements – Proficient in Microsoft Office. Prefer experience with SAP inventory module. Able to apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and suppliers through face-to-face discussions, e-mails, memos, and faxes, strong organizational skills and great attention to detail. Must be a team player and exhibit leadership skills and professionalism. Must be willing and able to travel including internationally and available to work extended hours when required to complete projects on time.
3. Experience – Minimum of 2 years’ experience in scheduling within the manufacturing field and shipping/receiving.
4. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, see, read, hear, have the physical and mental ability to travel independently and the physical and mental ability to comply with customary workshop, office, job site work environments, safety requirements and other customary regulations and requirements in these environments.
