What you'll do:

• Provides direct patient care, which may include evaluating patients, planning and modifying patient care, and conducting treatment. Provides clinical guidance and development to staff and serves as a clinical resource to staff and collaborates with Clinical Coordinator and Manager. Consistently demonstrates support of Loyola's Statement of Mission and Philosophy.

• Patient Assessment/Treatment - Provides direct patient care as deemed necessary by the clinical coordinator or manager based upon program or patient volume needs. Functions in the role of patient advocate by being in the position of initial contact for patient-related issues. Clarifies and implements physician orders and provides direct care as prescribed by the physician. Recognizes symptoms and establishes priorities consistent with patient's condition. Provides for the physical, cultural and psychosocial needs of the patient and family. Integrates evidencebased practice and professional standards whenever possible. Serves as a champion for patient safety by continually observing and monitoring the clinical environment and assuring that safety g

What you’ll need for this job: 

• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• 3-5 years previous job related experience
• Current IL state licensure as a SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology (CCC)
• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association

Compensation:

Pay Range: $32.90-$57.06 per hour 

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
