The Opportunity
As the Sales and Therapy Specialist, LAAO, you will be responsible for the commercial management and development of all accounts within your assigned territory. You will drive the adoption of Abbott’s Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) therapies, support physicians and Cath Lab teams during procedures, promote the utilization of Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE), and contribute to improved patient outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Imaging Specialists, and hospital stakeholders, serving as the primary commercial and clinical point of contact within the territory.
The role covers Central and North Poland, with Warsaw as the preferred home location.
What You'll Do
Commercial Responsibilities
- Manage and grow assigned accounts to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to drive LAAO and ICE adoption.
- Lead commercial discussions, tender processes, and key customer engagements.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, Cath Lab teams, and hospital stakeholders.
- Identify business opportunities and monitor market trends and competitive activity.
Technical & Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide technical and clinical support during LAAO procedures.
- Deliver product, therapy, and imaging education to physicians and hospital teams.
- Support procedural planning and imaging-guided workflows, including ICE applications.
- Partner with Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Imaging Specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer support and therapy adoption.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate CRM data, sales forecasts, and inventory management.
- Ensure product availability and timely reporting of product events.
- Adhere to Abbott's quality, regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in scientific, biomedical, healthcare, engineering, or technical discipline.
- Experience within the medical device industry.
- Experience supporting Interventional Cardiology, Structural Heart and/or Electrophysiology procedures in partnership with physicians and Cath Lab teams.
- Strong commercial and account management skills, with the ability to drive business growth.
- Professional proficiency in English and native polish
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
