Role summary

The Retail Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing retail channel strategies to accelerate sustainable business growth, enhance customer partnerships, and improve execution excellence across retail accounts. The role serves as a key bridge between Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Customer teams, translating business strategies into actionable customer plans, driving channel optimization, and ensuring effective implementation of key commercial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Drive retail channel growth by developing customer-centric trade marketing strategies, leading JBP execution, and enhancing distribution, business performance, and channel effectiveness

• Trade-MKT strategy landing plan：Develop and continuously optimize retail channel strategies aligned with business priorities and market dynamics. Support RTM (Route-to-Market) design and retail value chain optimization to
• Customer JBP Management: Facilitate customer negotiations to align on business objectives, growth initiatives, and execution priorities. Monitor JBP performance and drive corrective action to ensure target achievement.
• Trade program & Incentive Management: Develop initiatives to increase outlet coverage, product penetration and distributor effectiveness. Monitor coverage, offtake performance to identify business opportunities and risks. Partner with field sales team to improve execution quality and customer engagement.

Required skills & experience

Working Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sales Excellence, Commercial Operations, or related commercial functions. Pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or retail industry experience preferred.
• Proven experience in customer management, trade investment, and cross-functional project leadership.
• Experience with JBP negotiations and retail account management is highly desirable.
