We will count on you to:

  • Lead a team of regional Risk & Safety Advisors, providing coaching, mentoring, performance support and day-to-day oversight.
  • Directly service a portfolio of Scheme Members, delivering critical WHS and risk functions including evaluating risks and advising on hazard control and liability risk management.
  • Strengthen relationships with clients, internal client teams, and third-party stakeholders to deliver best-in-class service and support growth.
  • Act as a senior client contact, responding to complex needs and escalations to improve the client experience.
  • Support and guide Members to implement and maintain WHS strategies/programs, civil liability risk management initiatives, and staff training.

What you need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
  • Sound knowledge of South Australian Work Health & Safety legislation, principles and practice.
  • Proven experience in risk management frameworks and philosophy (knowledge of ISO 31000 is desirable).
  • An understanding of civil liability concepts (e.g., contracting, common law) and the risk landscape within local government.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with CEOs, senior leaders, operational teams, and external bodies.
  • A current SA driver’s license and willingness to travel to regional areas.

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
