  • Co-create the global institutional growth agenda with Sales and business leaders, translating business priorities into clear choices across audiences, markets, client journeys, channels and investment.
  • Build and continually refresh a fact-based view of institutional audiences, buying groups, decision processes, needs, barriers, competitive alternatives and regional differences.
  • Develop targeted, sustained programs that engage institutional buying groups, consultants and other decision influencers across long consideration cycles.
  • Partner with Sales and business leaders, and bring independent perspective, to identify the issues, questions and market developments most relevant to institutional audiences,
  • Lead centralized activation through shared Marketing specialists, establishing clear briefs, priorities, outcomes and measures of success while adapting programs to regional market needs.

  • Define and own a scorecard connecting audience engagement and progression to qualified opportunities, priority relationships, client retention, expansion and return on marketing investment; ensure regulatory, compliance and brand standards are met.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive institutional asset-management marketing or closely related investment-marketing experience.
  • Deep knowledge of institutional investors, consultants and complex buying groups, including how investment decisions are shaped across long consideration cycles.
  • Demonstrated success bringing an independent audience perspective to business strategy and building productive, peer-level partnerships with Sales, Investments and other business leaders.
  • Experience developing integrated B2B marketing programs.
  • Experience using account-based marketing approaches to engage complex buying groups and advance priority institutional relationships.
  • Strategic and hands-on operating style, with strong business judgment and the ability to convert insight into focused priorities and measurable action.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence, manage multiple priorities and operate effectively with shared resources.
  • Executive presence and influence across Distribution, Investments, Product, Compliance and senior leadership in a regulated organization.
  • Strong analytical, project management and communication skills.
