About the role:

The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a supportive role in transforming Axiom into a data-driven company. You will help surface critical operational insights to stakeholders, ensure our data assets are well-maintained, and bring transparency to our daily operations. You will pull up your sleeves to query, clean, and publish data, building the reports and dashboards our teams use to make informed decisions. Reporting directly to the Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics, this role is an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills while contributing to a growing data culture.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations) to gather requirements, understand business questions, and build relevant reporting solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools to address daily operational and analytics requests.
• Support the maintenance and monitoring of existing ETL jobs and data pipelines to ensure reliable data delivery.
• Perform routine data QA audits, troubleshoot reporting issues, and maintain data integrity across trusted sources.
• Assist in documenting data definitions, lineage, and access policies to ensure clear organizational knowledge.
• Work alongside software engineering and IT teams to understand technical data structures and implement basic BI solutions.
• Adhere to and promote Axiom’s data governance and security policies.

About you:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence (relevant internships or academic capstone projects apply).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major BI tool such as Tableau (preferred), Power BI, Sisense, or Qlik.
• Solid foundational knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) for querying and data extraction.
• Familiarity with data cleaning, basic ETL concepts, and tools like Databricks or similar cloud data platforms.
• Detail-oriented problem solver who takes ownership of their tasks and is eager to learn.
• Exposure to enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Workday, or Greenhouse is a plus.
