Senior Account Executive - Energy & Power

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy & Power team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Executive to join our Energy & Power team, supporting large and complex accounts across the Energy and Power sector. You will build trusted client relationships, contribute to account growth, and support the delivery of tailored insurance and risk management solutions in a dynamic and specialised industry.

We will count on you to:

• Support Energy and Power clients throughout the insurance renewal cycle and annual servicing process
• Contribute to portfolio management and assist Principals with client delivery
• Help develop, implement and administer risk management and insurance programmes that meet client needs
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key client decision-makers and develop a clear understanding of their business and insurance requirements
• Identify opportunities to expand the Energy and Power portfolio by understanding client priorities, market trends and Marsh offerings
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, policy accounting information and supporting documentation
• Liaise and negotiate with clients, underwriters and claims managers while building technical knowledge of relevant classes of insurance

What you need to have:

• Experience in a commercial insurance environment
• Well-developed business acumen and an understanding of general business functions, finance and related issues
• A commitment to quality client service and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, insurers and other stakeholders
• Tier 1 compliance certification, or willingness to work towards achieving it
• Prior experience working in Energy & Power, or an interest in learning about the Energy & Power sector
