Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Auditor will support leadership in the personal property compliance processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and review deadline update reports
Assist with annual system update of deadlines, calculation tables, and reference guides
Monthly review of bank reconciliations
Review/approve e-file confirmations and high-value account items
Document filing/reporting errors and communicate inconsistencies with analyst and management
Assist in performing internal quality assurance audits sporadically on clients to ensure filings and procedures are accurately and timely prepared and met
Review/approve funding requests prepared by analysts prior to submitting to a client
Review/approve tax bills/check requests in PTMS, OneSource
Create AP exports out of PTMS, OneSource for PTCA
Review/Approve return mailer packets
Monitor PTCA database for both internal and jurisdictional deadlines ensuring department is meeting tasks timely
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great organizational skills and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
PTMS (Property Tax Management System) experience is preferred but not necessary
Technical tax background preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work Schedule: Regular, 40 hours/week
Physical Activity:
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and sounds
