Total Warehouse provides material handling equipment, warehouse storage systems, pallet racking, fleet management, automation technologies, service, and operational improvement solutions. We help customers improve safety, productivity, warehouse capacity, and operational efficiency.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Solutions Consultant partners with customers throughout Hawaii to identify warehouse storage, operational, and facility improvement opportunities. This role combines consultative sales, warehouse layout design using AutoCAD, and project coordination to deliver warehouse solutions from concept through installation.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

• Develop relationships with warehouse managers, operations leaders, and business owners.
• Conduct facility assessments and discovery meetings.
• Identify warehouse storage, safety, and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and prospecting.
• Prepare and present proposals, budgets, and recommended solutions.
• Maintain opportunity and customer activity within CRM systems.

Warehouse Design & Layout Development

• Create AutoCAD warehouse layouts and storage system drawings.
• Review customer plans, field measurements, and operational requirements.
• Develop concepts, layouts, and storage recommendations.
• Prepare design presentations and project documentation.
• Coordinate drawings with vendors, engineers, and installation teams.

Project Coordination

• Support projects through permitting, scheduling, installation, and closeout.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, engineers, and contractors.
• Track milestones, approvals, and project status.
• Assist with project documentation and customer handoff.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable conducting customer meetings and site visits.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Hawaii.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
•  5-8 years of experience in an engineering role.
• Understanding of engineering principles, design, and problem-solving.
• Basic knowledge of regulations and standards related to the field, such as OSHA, IEEE, or ASME.
