The Senior Accounting Analyst contributes to the financial close process by supporting key accounting activities and partnering with the business to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This role provides financial information to management by reviewing monthly expense activity, preparing journal entries, analyzing accounting activity, performing SOX-related duties, completing surveys, and supporting finance-related projects as needed. The role also supports the corporate card program through accounting oversight, reporting, and process administration.

 

• Support accounting activities by reviewing or completing financial transactions and substantiations, including journal entries. Research and reconcile financial discrepancies with minimal supervision.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and journal entries for the general ledger by collecting required data, analyzing and allocating costs, and preparing audit support for transactions such as expense accruals.
• Complete ad hoc finance-related projects by coordinating tasks, researching outstanding issues, and supporting timely resolution.
• Manage Concur-related processes, including training, MCC code management, and monitoring audit rule violations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance and 3 years experience or HS/GED and 7 years experience in Accounting or Finance.

Preferred Qualification:

• 5 years of Accounting or Finance experience.

Additional Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
