Position Overview
We are seeking friendly, organized, and self-motivated individuals to assist clients with planning enjoyable vacation experiences. The Journey Coordinator works remotely to research options, organize reservation details, communicate with clients, and provide support throughout the planning process.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, learning about destinations, and completing detailed online research. Previous industry experience is not required. Training and ongoing educational resources are provided to help you learn planning procedures, client communication, destination research, and reservation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Speak with clients to learn about their preferred destinations, travel dates, interests, and budgets.
- Research accommodations, cruises, vacation packages, transportation, activities, and excursions.
- Compare available options and prepare clear recommendations for client review.
- Answer general questions about destinations, amenities, reservation policies, and vacation packages.
- Assist clients with completing reservations and verifying that names, dates, and other details are accurate.
- Track payment deadlines, documentation needs, and important reservation dates.
- Provide clients with confirmations, preparation reminders, and relevant destination information.
- Communicate reservation updates or changes in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain organized records of client preferences, conversations, and reservation details.
- Follow up with clients before and after their vacations.
- Participate in training and remain familiar with available planning tools and resources.
- Develop professional relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must reside in the United States or Mexico.
- Reliable internet access and a computer or compatible device.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Comfortable researching information and comparing multiple options online.
- Ability to manage deadlines and follow up consistently.
- Willingness to complete required training and continuing education.
- Professional attitude and respect for confidential client information.
- Ability to work independently and accept guidance when needed.
- Customer service, hospitality, administrative, or planning experience is helpful but not required.
