Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Team Member, FO Support, Reconciliation & KYC to join our Asset Management Operations team at RHB Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting key operational functions relating to private mandates and family office clients, including client reporting, account onboarding, KYC and ongoing due diligence (ODD), as well as stock and cash reconciliations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and the timely delivery of client services.
What you will be doing
Prepare and support timely and accurate reporting for private mandates and family office clients
Manage account opening, static data maintenance, KYC onboarding, and ongoing due diligence (ODD) processes for mandate and family office clients
Perform stock reconciliations for unit trust funds and stock and cash reconciliations for mandates
Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
Prepare mandate client reports prior to issuance to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure accurate maintenance of client and account information within internal systems
Attend to audit requests and queries and provide the required documentation and support
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational processes and service delivery
Act as authorizer where required and ensure proper controls are observed
Ensure adherence to all regulatory, risk management, and compliance requirements
Continuously identify and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
Provide cross-functional support to other teams within RHB Asset Management Operations when required
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Professional accounting qualification or other relevant professional certification is an added advantage
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in asset management, financial services, or a related industry
Strong familiarity with mandate reporting, stock and cash reconciliations, KYC onboarding, and ODD processes
Experience in investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of portfolio management systems will be an added advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly meticulous, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism
