    • Support programming, configuration, and deployment of digital data collection tools on KoboCollect/KoboToolbox, including skip logic, validation rules, calculated fields, and user access settings.
    • Assist in the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of KoboToolbox user accounts, data submission pipelines, and digital data collection systems across the evaluation states.
    • Support pre-testing and piloting of digital tools and document feedback for incorporation into final field-ready versions.
    • Maintain version control and documentation of all approved data collection tools and data management systems.
  • Training Facilitation and Data Quality Support
    • Support facilitation of national-level Facilitator Training and state-level Training of Trainers (ToTs) on evaluation procedures, digital data collection tools, data quality standards, and reporting requirements.
    • Demonstrate and support training on KoboCollect use, device management, offline data capture, synchronization procedures, and troubleshooting.
    • Assist with administration of pre- and post-tests, simulation exercises, role plays, and trainee assessments.
    • Support preparation and dissemination of data collection guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), quick reference materials, and job aids for field teams.
    • Provide ongoing technical support to supervisors and data collectors throughout the training and field implementation periods.
  • Data Collection Monitoring and Quality Assurance
    • Support monitoring of real-time data submissions from the assigned state and conduct routine data quality checks for completeness, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness.
    • Assist in identifying and documenting outliers, duplicate records, missing data, and data entry errors for corrective action by field teams.
    • Support daily data review meetings and debrief sessions with field supervisors and data collection teams.
    • Participate in spot checks, back checks, and verification activities to strengthen adherence to data quality standards.
    • Work closely with Senior Research Officers in other states to promote consistency in data quality procedures and reporting.
    • Escalate data quality concerns, implementation challenges, and operational risks to the State Team Lead and Research and Learning Advisor as required.
  • Mixed-Methods Data Management and Analysis Support
    • Support cleaning, validation, and organization of quantitative datasets from KoboToolbox and other approved sources.
    • Assist in preparing analysis-ready datasets in Microsoft Excel, STATA, R, SPSS, or other approved software.
    • Support quantitative analysis activities, including descriptive statistics, indicator calculations, data summaries, and comparative analyses.
    • Assist with transcription, translation, organization, and quality review of qualitative data collected through KIIs and FGDs.
    • Support the setup and maintenance of qualitative coding projects using NVivo, ATLAS.ti, Dedoose, or equivalent software.
    • Assist in maintaining secure storage and management of qualitative and quantitative datasets in accordance with approved protocols.

    • Assist in generating routine data summaries and analytical outputs required for technical review and decision-making.
    • Contribute data-related inputs to evaluation reports, presentations, technical briefs, and dissemination materials.
    • Support preparation of data annexes, codebooks, datasets, and supporting documentation for submission to stakeholders.
    • Assist with incorporating feedback from technical reviewers and stakeholders into revised analytical products.
  • Data Security, Ethics, and Compliance
