Job Profile Summary
Serves as the primary point of contact for institutional clients (funds, fund administrators and financial institutions) on payment-related inquiries and servicing needs. Responsible for managing client communications, coordinating with internal Payment Operations teams, investigating payment issues, and ensuring timely resolution of client requests.
Develops a strong understanding of payment products, payment processing workflows, SWIFT messaging, and operational controls while delivering exceptional client service.
Operates with increasing independence and a strong sense of urgency, proactively managing client expectations and maintaining ownership of inquiries through resolution.
Job Description
Major Duties
Serve as the primary client contact for payment-related inquiries, investigations, and servicing requests. Develop trusted relationships with institutional clients by delivering proactive communication, timely updates, and an exceptional client experience throughout the payment lifecycle. Liaise with Payment Operations, Sanctions, and Relationship Management teams to resolve client issues. Manage payment investigations involving wire transfers, payment recalls and delayed or returned payments. Communicate with institutional clients via email, telephone, and virtual meetings, providing timely and professional updates. Monitor open inquiries and ensure prompt follow-up, escalation, and resolution. Develop working knowledge of SWIFT messages, payment flows, banking processes and products. Maintain detailed records of client interactions and investigation outcomes. Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance client experience and operational efficiency. Demonstrate client advocacy while balancing operational and risk management requirements. Adhere to all applicable regulatory, compliance, and operational risk standards.

- Knowledge of wire transfers, ACH payments, and banking services.
Experience
- 5 to 7 years of banking services, cash management, payments, operations, or client servicing experience.
- Experience supporting institutional or corporate clients preferred.
- Experience in handling payment investigations or operational inquiries preferred.
Shift Coverage: Late EMEA or US shift depending on the need of the role
