Kings Card Club is seeking a full-time Front of House Lead for our evening/night shift!

SUMMARY
The Front of House Lead is expected to work alongside the Front of House Manager to oversee daily food and beverage operations and deliver exceptional guest service in a vibrant, upscale card club environment. As a Key Card Employee, this position assists in supervising front of house staff, maintaining service standards, resolving guest concerns, managing guest discounts and comps, and supporting efficient daily operations. This role also assists with team training and requires strong leadership, outstanding hospitality skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the food and drink menu; accurately enter orders into the POS system and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Follow the Basic Steps of Service and maintain cleanliness and organization in all service and prep areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, well-groomed, and professionally handling guest concerns (acknowledge, apologize, act).
- Promote daily specials, beverages, and events to enhance guest experience and support revenue growth through effective upselling.
- Accurately process payments and ensure efficient, smooth service throughout each shift.
- Provide operational oversight by monitoring dining and service areas for cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with scheduling, task delegation, and inventory management to support efficient daily operations.
- Supervise front-of-house staff to ensure performance standards are met and service expectations are upheld.
- Train all new FOH team members and lead re-training efforts as needed to maintain consistency and quality of service.
- Work closely with management, kitchen staff, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth, cohesive, and efficient daily operations.
- Professionally address guest concerns or complaints, using good judgment to resolve issues effectively and escalating to management when necessary.
- Enforce responsible alcohol service in accordance with local liquor laws, gaming regulations, and club policies. Monitor guest behavior and intoxication levels; cut off service when
- Administer guest discounts and comps as a Key Card Employee, ensuring accurate application in accordance with club policies and maintaining detailed records for accountability.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Train, supervise and counsel all employees in the department. Ensure all services to members are conducted in a highly professional and efficient manner. Maintain and ensure a professional, safe working environment and attitude on the part of all employees in areas of responsibility.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or gaming environment, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role. Experience processing discounts and comps in a hospitality or gaming environment is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Exceptional verbal, written and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
High School equivalent math knowledge required.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to make good choices, be able to distinguish between positive and negative situations, and how to approach situations and resolve them.

Food Handler’s Card Certification, ABC Training and RBS Certification (Responsible Beverage Service)
