Responsibilities

• Perform professional therapeutic massage treatments tailored to each client's needs.
• Assess muscle tension, soft tissue, and range of motion to recommend appropriate massage techniques.
• Help relieve pain, reduce stress, improve circulation, increase relaxation, and promote overall wellness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary spa treatment room, including laundering linens and preparing treatment areas.
• Build strong relationships with members and guests by providing an exceptional spa experience.
• Educate members on massage therapy benefits and recommend appropriate services.
• Promote spa and wellness services while accurately processing member charges.
• Follow all state licensing requirements and club health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) license through the Maryland Department of Health.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional massage therapy experience in a spa, wellness center, private club, chiropractic office, or similar professional setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic massage techniques and best practices.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and a strong commitment to providing an exceptional client experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative spa and hospitality team.
