General Manager

The General Manager serves as the senior leader for ATL Technology's Costa Rica operations and is accountable for the overall performance, growth, and strategic direction of the site. The role is responsible for delivering operational excellence, customer satisfaction, financial performance, talent development, and organizational capability while aligning local initiatives with ATL's global objectives.

This position leads a complex, vertically integrated medical device manufacturing operation and partners closely with global functional leaders to ensure the Costa Rica site continues to expand its capabilities, improve scalability, and strengthen execution. The General Manager drives a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus while preparing the facility for long-term growth.

1. Strategic & Enterprise Leaders

• Define and execute strategy for assigned sites/region aligned with enterprise priorities
• Build scalable systems, capabilities, and organizational structures to support growth
• Anticipate future business needs (capacity, capability, talent)

2. Business Performance & Growth

• Own full P&L accountability across sites/region
• Drive revenue support, margin expansion, and operational scalability
• Lead major transformation initiatives (growth, turnaround, or complexity expansion)

3. Leadership of Leaders

• Build and lead high-performing leaders, and functional leadership teams
• Strengthen succession pipelines and leadership bench strength
• Establish and reinforce performance culture and leadership expectations

4. Enterprise Integration & Influence

• Partner with ELT and functional leaders to align strategies and execution
• Influence enterprise decisions impacting operations, customers, and capabilities
• Drive integration across site(s) to ensure consistency and scalability

5. Culture, Safety & Quality Leadership

• Set the tone for a high-performance, safety-first, quality-led culture
• Ensure consistent standards across all sites/operations
• Drive accountability and compliance at scale

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Operations, Business or related field)
• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred

Experience

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or business leadership
• Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations or large-scale organizations
• Proven track record driving growth, transformation, and performance improvement
• Experience with full P&L accountability and strategic planning

Capabilities:

• Strong strategic and financial acumen (P&L ownership, EBITDA impact)
