The Senior Plant Manager will lead all aspects of operations for our Houston Reconditioning facility, with responsibility for driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall plant performance. This role will build and develop high performing teams, foster a People First culture, and drive operational excellence across the facility. The Senior Plant Manager will also partner closely with Operations leadership and cross functional teams to advance continuous improvement, evaluate new manufacturing technologies and best practices, and ensure we consistently deliver high quality products and service to our customers.

YOUR IMPACT

• Oversees leaders within the plant manufacturing process and has responsibility over other non-manufacturing functions (HR, Safety etc.) on the daily work flow and setting standards to ensure on-time production and quality objectives are met.
• Provide guidance and leadership of manufacturing process for our Houston facility
• Interact with external customers and segment leadership on a frequent basis.
• Design manufacturing objectives and work plans for areas or facility of responsibilities; delegates assignments and ensures accountability for successful completion.
• Analyze capital budget investment opportunities and make recommendations to operations/segment leads.
• Partner with peers within Operations to strategically select and develop operations talent.
• Support the performance management process and executes in regard to supporting career development and growth for team members and leaders.
• Provides input to strategic plan: including timelines, reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and communications.
• Research and implement the appropriate application of continuous improvement tools and techniques in meeting manufacturing objectives.
• Collaborate with Operations leaders on labor planning to ensure proper staffing levels to service the business while effectively managing overhead costs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION   

• Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Five (5) or more years of management experience leading and developing others.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven leadership within a manufacturing, reconditioning, remanufacturing, or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong understanding of plant operations, including production, quality, safety, labor planning, and cost management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop manufacturing leaders while building high performing teams.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement principles, and operational excellence methodologies.
• Ability to analyze plant performance, identify opportunities, and drive improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Strong financial and business acumen with an understanding of operating budgets, capital investments, and cost management.
• Ability to develop and execute operational strategies that align plant performance with broader business objectives.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to interact effectively with customers, senior leadership, and cross functional partners.
• Effective communication, decision making, problem solving, and change management skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The following represents general working conditions for this role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances.

• This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in production environments.
• In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings.
• Floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
• Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

Pay Range:

$118,700.00 - $211,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
