The National Real Estate Group (NREG) is a specialized team within TD Commercial Banking focused on providing banking solutions for real estate development and construction projects. Partnering with developers, investors, and real estate professionals, NREG delivers customized financing solutions that support clients throughout the real estate lifecycle. Leveraging deep industry expertise, strong financial acumen, and relationship management excellence, the team delivers a best-in-class client experience while helping clients achieve their business objectives and long-term growth strategies.

 

Job Description:

A Real Estate Associate is the entry-level position into the dynamic and interesting world of Commercial Real Estate. Commercial Bankers at TD are trusted financial advisors to their clients. As a Commercial Real Estate Banker, you will work closely with a variety of Real Estate Developers to help them reach their goals, and in the process enable TD to thrive and grow. Specific responsibilities include structuring financing packages to meet companies' credit needs, and providing companies with a myriad of other banking products and services they require to run their businesses effectively.

The Associate supports the underwriting, portfolio management, and execution of commercial real estate financing transactions within the National Real Estate Group. Working closely with Account Managers, Account Manager Associates, and senior management, the Associate is responsible for conducting financial analysis, preparing credit submissions, monitoring construction and land development projects, and ensuring adherence to the Bank's risk management and monitoring requirements. NREG is a specialized business focused primarily on financing real estate development and construction projects.

Job Requirements

• Your training will involve on-site mentoring with an Account Manager in one of our Real Estate Units as well as several classroom courses. Real Estate lending provides a unique opportunity to combine both your relationship/sales and financial/analytical skills. Your career path can lead to more senior positions within our Real Estate locations that require more complex analysis and structuring of credits.
• You have or are working towards a graduate/undergraduate degree in business.
• You are a motivated achiever with proven analytical and interpersonal skills. You work well independently in a team environment.
• Mobility to Vancouver and Surrey is required
