Key responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sale of Power Controllers in line with the industry segment strategy. Each day, you will reach both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your ability by identifying and developing new sales opportunities within the assigned segment.

This role is contributing to the Motion High Power business in Central Europe Region.

Main customers are OEM’s , System Integrators, End Users working with heating applications that require precise temperature control. The automation of this control helps to ensure the accuracy of the required temperatures and to optimize the energy used for the heating process, improving the efficiency of the raw materials used and reducing energy consumption. Moreover this role is integral part of ABBs global decarbonization strategy.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Selling Power Controllers across Germany and CEU regions to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned segment

• Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB’s complete product/ systems/ services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution

• Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plans, in case of any potential order shortfalls

• Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the effective outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques

You will join a diverse and international team, where you will be able to thrive in decarbonization and innovation.

Qualifications for the role

• Ability to demonstrate your experience in Power controllers products, working in heating applications

• Degree in Engineering in an electro-mechanical field

• Availability to travel abroad (mainly in Central Europe regions)

• You are dedicated to selling and building relationships with customers

• You are proficient in communicating in English and German; French, Dutch or Polish language skills are a plus
