STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Bartender will prep the bar for regular service and special events, maintain the bar during service while serving guests, and will be responsible for the restock and cleanup of the bar. We are looking for positive individuals to responsibly prepare beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and serve our guests.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Efficiently and accurately prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages
- Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks/drinks
- Operate a point-of-sale unit; we are a cashless venue
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Ensure bar and lounge areas are clean and well presented
- Able to prepare batch mixes according to specs provided by F&B Manager
- Any additional tasks assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
- Ability to work individually or with others in a fast-paced work environment
- One year of customer service experience in a event, or venue preferred
- Prior experience with bartending and food preferred in events and or a venue
- Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have and maintain Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Certification and a Food Handlers Permit required to have prior to start date
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Facility has intermittent noise
