Our client is a leading European online car marketplace, connecting car buyers and sellers across the continent. The platform serves over 30 million monthly users and operates across 18 countries, making it one of the largest and most trusted digital marketplaces for vehicles in Europe.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead delivery across a cross-team transformation program covering two active initiatives: a greenfield transformation of vehicle repossession and remarketing workflows, and a foundational modernization of a registry application stack, including .NET upgrades, containerization, stronger deployment quality gates, and safe decommissioning of legacy infrastructure. This is not a generic coordination role, it is a delivery leadership position for a technically complex program with product, engineering, platform, and operations dependencies across multiple teams.

You will step into an already moving portfolio, create clarity from partially defined work, and turn it into one integrated delivery plan. Success means driving decisions and execution until both initiatives have a credible path to milestones, rollout readiness, and sustained ownership, with the confidence to challenge weak plans, surface risks early, and keep senior stakeholders aligned on facts, trade-offs, and next actions.

Responsibilities:

• Shape the two initiatives into one executable program structure with clear workstreams, milestones, owners, assumptions, success criteria, and decision points.
• Own the integrated delivery plan end to end — from status-baselining through design, execution readiness, rollout, stabilization, and handover — and keep the critical path visible at all times.
• Coordinate internal teams and external contributors across both workstreams, ensuring they run as one connected program rather than separate delivery rhythms.
• Maintain a single transparent view of risks, actions, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAID and decision logs), covering shared capacity constraints, sequencing risks, and leadership decision points.
• Surface delivery blockers early and escalate with clear recommendations and path-to-green options — not just status reports — following through until blockers are resolved.
• Establish lightweight but rigorous program governance, including the integrated plan, dependency map, stakeholder map, executive status view, and workstream-level readiness checkpoints.
• Ensure delivery covers business readiness, change management, release and cutover readiness, operational validation, and post-milestone follow-through — not just technical implementation.
• Deliver concise, executive-ready reporting that clearly distinguishes progress, risks, blockers, and leadership asks.

Requirements:

• Strong technical program management experience leading multi-team migration or transformation programs in complex technology environments.
• Demonstrated ability to take over initiatives with mixed status, identify the path to green, and align teams around realistic recovery, sequencing, and decision plans.
• Experience in technology organizations with meaningful engineering, platform, architecture, and operational dependencies — not only business-change programs.
• Proven track record steering initiatives that combine transformation delivery, modernization work, stakeholder management, operational readiness, and controlled rollout.
• Ability to work credibly with senior engineers, architects, product leads, operations, security, and business stakeholders without depending on one function to drive the program.
• Clear evidence of handling risks, dependencies, scope trade-offs, and cross-team conflicts in real delivery situations rather than only in framework-driven PM environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Toronto, Canada approximately once per month to support stakeholder alignment and delivery cadence.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills, including concise executive reporting and decision framing.

Nice to have:

• Experience leading migrations where technical sequencing and operational continuity both mattered.
• Understanding of how new products and modernized platforms are operationalized inside technology organizations.
• Experience defining and using leading and lagging indicators to track delivery health and program success.
• Familiarity with .NET modernization, containerization, and legacy infrastructure decommissioning contexts.
