TRISTAR is seeking an Operations Analyst to support the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 and (V)7 Electronic Warfare (EW) systems through testing, evaluation, analysis, and fleet support activities. The successful candidate will apply analytical, engineering, and operational assessment methods to evaluate system performance, identify deficiencies, support corrective actions, and improve testing processes throughout the system lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a background with hands-on experience in system integration, troubleshooting, testing, evaluation, and fleet operations. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of Electronic Warfare system performance, shipboard installation and checkout activities, operational test methodologies, and the ability to transform technical test data into actionable recommendations for program leadership and fleet stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform operational analysis, testing, and evaluation of AN/SLQ-32(V)6 and (V)7 Electronic Warfare systems and associated subsystems.
- Analyze system performance data and identify trends, anomalies, deficiencies, and root causes affecting operational effectiveness.
- Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and evaluation criteria for system integration, verification, and acceptance testing.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of system performance and readiness using engineering and operations research methodologies.
- Evaluate test results and provide recommendations for system improvements, process optimization, and corrective actions.
- Support integration testing between AN/SLQ-32(V)6 and (V)7 configurations and associated Electronic Warfare subsystems.
- Review and assess technical documentation, including Installation and Checkout Procedures (IOC), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Installation Control Drawings (ICDs), and Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs).
- Develop technical reports, performance assessments, briefing materials, and recommendations for Government leadership and program stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
- In lieu of a degree, significant directly related military, government, or defense industry experience supporting Electronic Warfare, radar, RF, or combat systems may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, or technical assessment activities.
- Experience supporting Navy combat systems, Electronic Warfare systems, radar systems, or RF-based technologies.
- Willing to travel at least 25% of the time.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
