In this role, you’ll lead data & privacy due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring risks are identified and managed effectively. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to integrate acquired entities into our privacy framework and support divestitures.
You’ll also help implement Gallagher’s Global Privacy Framework, provide expert advice on data & privacy risks, and deliver training to colleagues. - Collaborating with teams across Legal, IT, HR, and more.
About you
You’re a privacy professional with experience in operational or consultative roles. You have a strong understanding of UK and European data protection laws, including GDPR, and experience in M&A due diligence.
You’re a clear communicator who can explain complex privacy issues in simple terms. You’re a team player who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with diverse stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
- Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM) are a plus.
- Experience conducting privacy risk assessments and transfer impact assessments.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to integrity and doing business the right way.
- Exposure to OneTrust systems would be advantageous.
