Sr. Engineering Manager for Electrical Controls serves as the functional leader for the Excitation and Static Starter product lines. This position holds end-to-end accountability for the product lifecycle, managing the transition from New Product Introduction (NPI) design and development through to fulfillment excellence in the Order-to-Remittance (OTR) phase.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive Program execution , design reviews, validation testing, and compliance with grid codes, cyber-security requirements, and functional safety standards
•  Orchestrate collaboration between Systems Engineering, Software Development, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure a seamless "Design-to-Delivery" process.
• Manage NPI budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines, proactively identifying and mitigating technical and supply chain risks.
• Drive the NPI roadmap for electrical control products, ensuring alignment with overall power generation controls strategies. Contribute on MGPP and technology plans to define the product capabilities and prepare for the future needs of the power system.
• Establish the development and integration for the partnership with GEPC for the product integration activities
• Lead engineering support on the strategic transfer of Manufacturing Project
• Fast track Datacenter NPI product development , development of new vendor relations , certifications
• Influence and develop technology for services and after market needs, data centers and New units growth ​
• Inclusively lead team and drive strong team engagement by building, trust, collaboration & lean Culture.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master or above in electrical /Electronic Engineering/Computer engineering/ software engineering/controls-instrumentation engineering Industrial Automation or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in Electrical / Generator controls products Viz Exciter & static Starters
• Proven analytical and organizational ability
• Proven Ability to influence others, lead multifunctional design teams.
• Ability to Mentor and effective work in Cross-functional teams.
