As a Security Officer Entry Credential Coordinator in Lumberton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entrances, managing visitor and badge access, and responding to security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Monitor entry points and verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, including reviewing identification, visitor credentials, and delivery documentation.
- Maintain visitor logs, issue and recover access credentials as directed, and provide clear directions to approved areas of the facility.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry areas, restricted locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
