About the Role
We're looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join Fyfe's growing Energy & Resources team and provide remote engineering support to project teams across Australia.
Based in the Philippines, you'll work closely with Australian engineers and project managers, contributing to the delivery of electrical and instrumentation designs for oil and gas, mining and industrial infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on major Australian projects while being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
You'll be involved in a broad range of engineering activities including preparing calculations, specifications, data sheets and design documentation, as well as developing and reviewing deliverables such as single-line diagrams, P&IDs, loop diagrams, cable schedules and hazardous area documentation.
Working alongside process, mechanical and civil engineers, you'll contribute to integrated design solutions and support projects through various stages of delivery. You'll also have opportunities to develop your technical expertise, build relationships with Australian colleagues and clients, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of Fyfe's engineering processes.

About You
We're looking for an engineer who enjoys working collaboratively in a remote environment and is comfortable communicating with project teams across different locations.
You'll ideally bring:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- 3+ years of E&I engineering experience within mining, oil & gas or industrial projects
- Experience preparing electrical and instrumentation design deliverables
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with distributed project teams
- A proactive, self-managed approach to work
- Commitment to quality, safety and client service
