Senior Desk Side & Technology Support Analyst

Job Description

Overview         

We are seeking a Deskside Analyst to join our Group Information Services – Hong Kong team, in supporting and serving our business in a modern and fast paced environment.

Your role

• Management of incidents and service requests logged via the Global Service Desk and My IT self-service ticket system.
• General troubleshooting and support of the Atkins desktop computing environment, performing 2nd line software and hardware fixes.
• Setup and maintain desktop computers and peripherals and record their status for asset tracking
• Maintenance of local server & network rooms.
• Work with global team colleagues to help analyse, resolve and see through issues.
• Report to the Desk Side and Technology Support Manager, and assist in achieving local objectives and projects.

About you

Requirements

• At least 3 years working IT experience.
• Good general understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems (7 & 10) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Good analytical & reporting skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Desirable

• General level of knowledge of working in a corporate IT environment.
• Customer service experience.
• Any ITIL or Microsoft Qualifications.
• General knowledge of MS Cloud solutions (One Drive, Intune) / Office 365.
• Working knowledge of supporting IT infrastructure.
