Job Description

As a Security Officer Private School Campus Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors while responding to concerns and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, campus information, and reporting of unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
