Mechanical Solidworks Designer

In this role you will use SOLIDWORKS to do mechanical design, 3D CAD modeling and detail drafting of heavy equipment mechanical parts, welded and machined assemblies, sheet metal, hydraulics, pneumatics and E/M wiring harnesses, etc. for large road maintenance equipment.  You will produce production ready documentation including detailed drawings, BOMs, process instructions, and provide technical support to Sales, Customer Service, Inventory and Engineering. 

This is a TEMP-HIRE position and must be worked on-site in Wickenburg, AZ.  Work schedule is 4/10 hours days Monday-Thursday. 

Pay Range is $30.00-$40.00/hr

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• AAS or equivalent experience, THREE years+ experience using SOLIDWORKS in a manufacturing environment, BSME a plus
• Must be proficient with 3D CAD modeling, parametric design and detail drafting; ideally product design
• Understanding and experience with large machine structures and mechanisms, metal fabrication/mfg. processes (machining, welding, assembly)
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, machine controls
• Ideally experience with sheetmetal, surface modeling, fixture/tooling design, electronics and machine control systems
