## What you’ll do:
- The Regional Logistics Leader. APAC is responsible for inbound and outbound transportation execution across the assigned APAC region, ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective logistics performance across all applicable transport modes. This role works closely with network schedulers, planners, plants, logistics procurement, global trade management, finance, engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to support supply continuity, customer delivery performance, freight efficiency, and operational responsiveness.
- Reporting to the Mobility, Global Logistics Manager, this position serves as the primary regional logistics execution lead for APAC. The role is an individual contributor position with strong matrix leadership responsibilities and close partnership with the global logistics center of excellence, logistics/indirect procurement and regional stakeholders. The position supports freight performance, continuous improvement, regional risk management, freight audit and pay processes, exception resolution, dispute management, and logistics procurement activities within the region.
- Logistics Operations & Performance Management
\- Drive logistics operational excellence across IS APAC by implementing key logistics processes, performance metrics, and compliance requirements, including OTD, cost reduction, and program adherence.
\- Support logistics execution readiness by coordinating the transition from network planning to operational execution and managing business-critical escalations.
\- Develop and support initiatives that improve logistics efficiency, service performance, and network cost competitiveness.
\- Support compliance and shipment terms planning, with close collaboration with trade management & custom teams.
- Carrier Management & Logistics Capacity Planning
\- Build and manage strategic relationships with logistics service providers to help secure competitive cost, capacity, and service advantages.
\- Lead and support transportation RFQ activities, carrier implementation, and route transitions to ensure business continuity and operational effectiveness.
\- Translate planning requirements into short- and medium-term logistics capacity forecasts to support operational readiness and business growth.
- Supply Chain Resiliency & Market Intelligence
\- Monitor logistics market dynamics, capacity availability, and external factors that may impact cost, service, or supply continuity.
\- Identify and mitigate logistics and supply chain risks arising from market fluctuations, geopolitical developments, capacity constraints, or transportation disruptions.
\- Provide insights and recommendations to support network planning, business decision-making, and resiliency improvement, including guidance on identified and projected capacity constraints, service risks, and OTD performance.
- Analytics & Cross-functional Collaboration
\- Analyze logistics performance, transportation spending, cost drivers, and operational trends to identify improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision-making.
\- Provide regular performance updates and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key risks, trends, and improvement actions.
\- Partner with global procurement, network planning, operations, and cross-functional teams to drive logistics optimization, efficiency improvements, and business growth initiatives.
## Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5-9 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, procurement, operations, or related functions.
- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or multinational operating environments is preferred.
- Exposure to regional supply chain operations, transportation management, or logistics service providers is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles, logistics operations, transportation networks, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Highly-versed in Customs compliance and Incoterms with regards to International shipping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate logistics performance, operational metrics, cost drivers, and market trends, identify risks and opportunities, and develop practical business recommendations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance management, with the ability to leverage data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across countries and functions.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, transportation management systems, or supply chain applications is preferred.
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or other relevant supply chain certifications are preferred.
- Strong learning agility, with the ability to quickly understand new business processes, systems, and supply chain requirements.
- Demonstrates professionalism and sound judgment, with a commitment to ethical standards and responsible decision-making.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and organizational levels.
