Job Overview
The R&D Program Coordinator will support the Vice President of Research & Development and help coordinate strategic initiatives, leadership priorities, and day-to-day operations across the R&D organization. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys keeping projects moving, supporting leaders, and improving team coordination.
Highlights of your role
- Coordinate R&D programs, projects, timelines, milestones, and action items.
- Support leadership meetings by preparing agendas, materials, presentations, notes, and follow-up communications.
- Assist with departmental planning, budgeting, reporting, purchasing, and resource coordination.
- Serve as a central point of coordination for cross-functional communication and project updates.
- Support department operations, onboarding activities, organizational resources, events, and process improvements.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination, program management, business operations, executive support, or a related role.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams, and drive work to completion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.

- Experience supporting an engineering, product development, or R&D organization.
- Experience coordinating strategic initiatives, project portfolios, or business operations activities.
- Experience creating executive-level presentations, dashboards, and leadership communications.
- Familiarity with budgeting, resource planning, and financial reporting processes.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional teams and organizational initiatives.
